The laboratory at Aspen Valley Hospital is affiliated with Mayo Clinic Laboratories, the national reference laboratory for Mayo Clinic. The collaboration consolidates reference testing, improves turnaround time, and strengthens the Hospital’s ability to provide exceptional laboratory services and patient care.

Aspen Valley Hospital has formally partnered with the renowned Steadman Clinic to deliver a full complement of world-class orthopaedic care services for the Aspen and Roaring Fork Valley communities.

Aspen Valley Hospital partners with Surgical Specialists of Colorado (SSOC) to provide general and trauma surgical needs with two full-time dedicated surgeons and rotating specialists at the Hospital. SSOC provides a full spectrum of surgical, trauma and specialty coverage.
Patients with neurological conditions gain immediate access via an interactive video stream to a neurologist for immediate assessment. This interactive meeting successfully connects the neurologist, patient and family with Aspen Valley Hospital clinical staff and is a critical step to immediately diagnose patients suffering from a stroke or other life-threatening neurological condition.
Each month, physicians specializing in endocrinology and rheumatology visit Aspen Valley Hospital. Recently, the Hospital began offering telemedicine to rheumatology patients and soon will be introducing the service to endocrinology patients as well.
Aspen Valley Hospital partners with Valley View Hospital to provide efficient and necessary specialty care. Through this collaborative partnership, both hospitals share physicians who see patients in both locations. These include: urologists, a spine surgeon, a breast reconstruction surgeon, gastroenterologists, an oncologist and an electrophysiology cardiologist.
