Lauren received her BS from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville in Dietetics and her MS from the University of Kentucky in Nutritional Science with an emphasis in Sports Nutrition and Wellness. She completed her Dietetic Internship Supervised Practice from Georgia Southern University. Lauren became a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) in 2021 through the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), which is the premier professional sports nutrition credential in the U.S.

Lauren has experience in medical nutrition therapy for a variety of diseases and conditions. She has worked with a variety of patients from weight management, enhanced performance through sports nutrition, cardiovascular, oncology and improved wellbeing through nutritional intake. Lauren has experience providing nutrition education on various topics as she was a previous Adjunct Instructor at Front Range Community College.

Lauren is passionate about improving patient’s health and wellbeing through nutritional intake. She is an avid marathoner and ultra-athlete who can help others enhance their sports performance through nutritional intake. Lauren offers inpatient and outpatient services at Aspen Valley Hospital and strives to provide community nutrition through events such as Dietitian Demos. She meets with a variety of individuals with unique conditions and goals and can provide nutrition coaching support and lifestyle modifications to improve health and wellbeing.
